It may be winter but this is an important time if you are to see your Big Planters at their best later in the year. If you have shrubs already established its the right time for pruning - err on the side of deep cuts as this promotes more vigorous growth. In the case of flowers or vegetables you need to plan ahead and perhaps plant seeds in pots indoors with a view to moving them to your Planters in a couple of months time. Imagining how your Planters will look in full summer bloom should be the incentive you need to invest a little time now!
